Job Description

Project Manager required by a leading Investment Manager to play a critical part in supporting the delivery of key initiatives and change management services within their Property funds business. The role encompasses evaluating and selecting solutions to complex business requirements and problems and making recommendations to senior management, managing projects throughout their life cycles including management of cross-functional project teams and third parties in order to realise business benefits. Of particular interest would be candidates from the business more than pure technology, as you will be working alongside IT to implement a new Property fund accounting system. Therefore a background in operational projects is essential, and knowledge of fund accounting processes are also integral to the position. Experience in Property fund accounting would be an added bonus. The role will entail working with clients to derive business priorities and develop project plans, tracking project progress against plans, building and managing project financial forecasts and expenses; and preparing reports and delivering presentations to senior management regarding project status, results and recommendations. In addition to the above, our client is looking for a solid understanding of the use and application of structured project management tools and methodologies, experience of managing the delivery of third party solutions, and a solid track record in the UK asset management industry.
