The UK has a national shortage of foster homes for children – 10,000 at the last count. Five Rivers is a national fostering agency and Social Enterprise which puts its profits back into supporting the children in its care, training and supporting its foster carers and developing its staff.

Our foster carers have a variety of backgrounds, ages and experiences:

• Some have a job, others do not
• Some have children, others do not
• Some are married or living with a partner, others are single.
