The Role - Graduate Account Manager

Entering the business as a Graduate Account Manager, you will be charged with selling within a controlled environment, benefiting from the company`s extensive existing client base and the number of large projects that are already in place. The role will involve a great deal of liaison and quality assurance, and as such excellent communication skills are essential. The contacts obtained by the business will be long term, and your focus will be upon growing and developing existing accounts. With major growth and development plans in place, this area of the business offers great possibilities for progression.

The company believes strongly in personal accountability and independence, and their sales staff are trained to use initiative when driving the sale. Selling prices are decided by the sales staff and each sales person has a gross profit target. Metal prices and availability are subject to constant change within this unpredictable market, calling for you to be on the ball constantly and to adapt to changing situation. Price lists are not used: you hold the authority of the sale.
